Laurie and her bridesmaids got ready at the Ivy, a small boutique luxury hotel with a European feel. Ferre Sposa worked with Laurie to do some customization on her Pronovias dress, adding a seam detail and small alterations to the bust line. This really elevated the elegance and body line of the wedding dress, truly making it the perfect fit and dream dress for Laurie.
The couple tied the knot at St. Paul's Basilica and keeping it traditional, Chris patiently waited at the front of the altar for his bride. Laurie wore a delicate cathedral length veil with her Pronovias wedding dress. Photographers love playing with the veil and you may choose not to have a veil for the ceremony or reception, however, it might be something to think about for portraits!
If you’ve ever been to an at the Liberty Grand, you already know the statuesque atmosphere it has. With crystal chandeliers and imported period finishings, the reception was transported back into a beautiful historical venue. Notes of gold accented the room and blush coloured blooms and foliage added to the room’s elegance.
