As the autumn leaves turn, fall weddings are right around the corner. What better way to bring in some inspiration by showcasing a fall photoshoot we did with our favourite design team Love by Lynzie Events + Design! If you want a true rustic setting with a modern twist, Lynzie and her team pieced together one of the most beautiful combinations in the countryside of Ontario.

Lynzie says, "The shoot was inspired by understated fall tones, mid century modern tableware and furniture and the stunning countryside of Ontario, Canada. All of these items together were seemingly an unusual mix, but we thought there was a way to elevate the trend of country and farm weddings into something more modern. Our goal was to reimagine a country wedding with on trend styling.”
The results were spectacular. Every detail was colour coordinated, from the table runner, to the gold cutlery and her design eye really focused on bringing the beautiful royal blue accent colours on the pieces that would make the most design impact - linen napkins and the candles. The detail of mismatched chairs kept the rustic feel with the modern table setting.
Hand penned watercolour invitations are a must for a vintage feel, for this shoot, Pigment and Parchment hand-painted using an autumn countryside-inspired colour palette.
For the wedding dress, we selected something modern with lots of romance, **** has a great selection of these dresses. We love the subtle swoop of the neckline that adds a touch of sexiness while being covered. Lace always brings the romance and the fit and flare style enhances an hourglass figure. The style of the bouquet also makes a difference in adding to the overall theme and Living Fresh did a perfect job infusing the bridal bouquet with wild greenery and vintage ribbons.
We can’t thank all the vendors enough for bringing all of their best styling ideas and putting together a gorgeous rustic wedding right in the middle of Ontario.
