Inspiration

Wedding Inspiration: A Jewel Toned Bohemian Dream

Inspired from a bohemian dream, Vervain Studios teamed up with Ferre Sposa and Aisle Do, Weddings & Events to create a soft jewel-toned look with subtle pops of blush, greenery and stunning gold accents. Varied textures were brought in, pairing delicate lace with soft fur and silky satin with rose petals to create a beautiful vintage atmosphere only old Hollywood designers would dream of.

Bold jewel tones go well with gold accents and in this shoot, tones of light to dark fuchsia and emerald complemented each beautifully. These colour schemes flowed through the bouquet, table setting and stationary, and brought the overall look together. 

The first Ferre Sposa dress from Allure Bridal was an easy selection because we wanted a soft, delicate look. The subtle rouching throughout the dress was gathered by a satin bow belt by Canadian designer Zarucci.

The second Ferre Sposa dress was a two piece by Sottero & Midgley (top) and Mikaella Bridal (skirt) and suited the bohemian style with an intricate design of asymmetrical shapes emphasized with small crystals. It’s paired with a high wasted skirt to maintain a classy and modern wedding look. The great thing about two pieces is that it gives the bride freedom to move and also the ability to wear the pieces again! 

Topped with pictures in a TeePee, old Hollywood glam met a bohemian rhapsody and the end results were truly dreamy!
